Back when the projected release date was in April, my sister had said she would get it for me for my birthday, which is in April. She ended up pre-ordering it from a well known internet book seller, who was supposed to ship to arrive on release day. Here is is, Thursday and still no book. I should never have had this happen, as I could have driven around and found a store with a copy. I have read the chapters provided at this site and studied the maps and chapter titles and I WANT TO READ THE BOOK.
But, at least I don’t have to wait till October like those in the UK.

I read it. It was awesome. I’d elaborate but that would involve spoilers, and nobody wants that.
Go get a copy and read it. Now. That is all. XD
Fantastic! Loved it!! I read it all in one sitting yesterday and broke my previuos reading record (500 pager in less than 12 hours). My new record thanks to Darke: 600 pages in less than 9 hours! Man, I’m so happy about Darke I’m going nuts!
I read Darke in about five hours. I kept track, and so did my mom, and I can still hardly believe it! How did I do that? It must have been good! (And it was. Super good!)
Two hours and nineteen minutes exactly. π
No, just kidding, I don’t think anyone would be able to read that fast π
Anyone in the UK – I got a USA Export copy of Darke from the Book Depository
I stayed up basically all night last night reading. SO GOOD!
I went to Borders today to go and get the book, but they didn’t have it!!! They said it was still on the truck coming to the store. I asked them when it would come but they didn’t know. I went home not happy, planning on going to Barns and Noble to get the book because Borders didn’t have it. I could have gone strait to Barns and Noble but I had a coupon at home that might work. But now I’m here without a book, typing this sad, sad story. I told my father I needed the car to go get the book after dinner, but he said no. π¦ π¦ π¦ π¦
Have no worries I do intend to get Darke in my possession really soon like tomorrow. For those of you who didn’t go to a bookstore without a copy, and now own Darke, read and enjoy because I know it is good.
Ps. Before this day I would have told you I like Borders above Barns and Noble but today and maybe for awhile I’ll tell you to forget Borders because they didn’t have Darke.
Pss. I’ll post when I own the book.
My mother convinced my father to let me go get it tonight. π So I have it. when I got home I started reading and my mother reminded me that I promised to post as soon as I got it. π
Ps. I’m still mad at Borders.
Borders sucks. It never has the books that you want when you want them (usually not even the popular series). The one in my area closed down. But we have an awesome Barnes and Noble so I was still able to get Darke. π
I don’t particularly like Borderds either, but I don’t want it to completely close yet, cause I still have a ten dollar gift card, just waiting to be used.
Eew, I hate barnes and noble. I actually had to go LOOKING for Darke, which ended up being shoved in some corner COMPLETELY overshadowed by the latest Kane Chronicles book. Whereas my local Borders store would have had it up front right at the entrance AND had a release party.
And Barnes and Noble has NO good selection – only the “hip”, as the customer service guy told me when I asked him why Darke’s release wasn’t even being acknowledged, books are celebrated there. He then proceded to show me a very nice five foot tall display of the “hip” new Martha Stewart cookbook.
Borders has more emphasis on the less popular books, and what I’ve found is that the least likely things, in this case books, often turn out to be the greatest.
That’s how I discovered Sep.
π im gonna read it!!!
Cooooooool……hope browse inside comes out soon
