We’ve got some movie news! (You heard it here first!)
Karen Rosenfelt, the producer, has said that:
They will be shooting the test at Industrial Light and Magic in the first and second week of May. It will probably take about 12 weeks to finish the test, since there is a lot of CGI. Rick Carter just joined the project as the production designer. Rick has worked on movies such as BACK TO THE FUTURE, JURASSIC PARK, WAR OF THE WORLDS and AVATAR. The studio is very enthusiastic about the project!
This is great as it brings the film closer to being give the green light (the go-ahead).
Note to all aspiring actors: this does not mean Warners will be doing any casting yet. This won’t happen until the movie is green lit.
So … let’s wait and see and wish it well,

WOAH !! The moment we’ve all been waiting for ! Well not really . ^^ But we’re getting close ! Whenever I replay the Sorceror’s Apprentice, the 10-year-old there reminds me so much of Sep ! And then I’ll just squirm on the sofa saying ” Ooohh !! I can’t wait for the Sep Heap movie ! ” Haha ! 😀

Oh, and I loved the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, too. I kept finding similarities to Septimus Heap in it, like the pointy shoes thing, and my family probably thought I was crazy, giggling at random parts in the movie when I found a Sep referance.
Me too ! The most intriguing similarity is the Dragon Ring . Though they don’t look too much alike . ^^
I watched that movie like last week and when I saw the Dragon Ring, I screamed, “COPIERS!!!” My brother and sister just sat there and stared at me. I think they thought that I had finally lost my mind. 🙂

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! im new to this whole blogging thing and kinda new to Septimus Heap aswell, but i was completely hooked on the first book i read the rest of the series in the space of a week, i just couldnt put them down!! Im am looking fwd to the next book very much and the movies aswell! I believe that Septimus Heap will be the next Harry Potter! Cant wait to hear for the green light! 😀

Does anyone else imagine how the trailer is gonna be like? Cause I do, and it’d like this: first it begins with the matron midwife shouting ” dead ” then Sally Mullin telling Sarah that the queen is dead and the princess is alive. Then the music plays, we see boy 412 throwing snow balls and one hits Marcia and we see their conversation, them The music stops and eventually Marcia tells the Heaps that their daughter is the princess and tells them that Jenna must come with her and with that another more motivating theme plays ( which is the movie’s main theme) we see them in the rubbish chute then in the boat, Marcia making a projection and boy 412 holding the Dragon Ring and it glows then he and Jenna escaping the hunter and Domdaniel on his ship The Vengeance screaming and yelling, then the title appears ” Septimus Heap : Magyk ” and under it a logo which reads believe in Magyk. Then the drums stop and Aunt Zelda saying sister moon sister moon show us if you will Septimus Heap. So what do you think???
