   I’ve been writing a story/ possible novel but I’m only in seventh grade. I’m afraid publishers won’t treat me as a businessperson. I’m just touching up the edges of the story, but can you give some advice on how to get it published?

   I’m not a professional or anything, but I would say the best way would be to email a draft to a publishing office like HarperCollins so they read it. Then they don’t even have to know your age before they properly consider your story.
